ENTRY DOOR LIMITED LIFETIME Warranty
Vinyl Window Designs Ltd. (VWD)warrants that each door they manufacture is free of manufacturing and/or material defect for the lifetime of the product under reasonable and normal residential use, subject to the limitations and conditions stipulated herein. Commodity Doors are limited to a 5 year warranty.

20 Year (Lifetime of Product) Limited Warranty
1. Steel Door Panel
Our steel door panels will not warp, rust or delaminate for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase.

2. Woodgrain Fiberglass Door Panel
Our woodgrain fiberglass door panels will not dent, rot or delaminate for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase. We recommend multipoint locking on all woodgrain fiberglass doors to enhance the weatherseal and to minimize warping.

3. Smooth Fiberglass Door Panel
Our smooth fiberglass door panels will not dent, rot or delaminate for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase. We recommend multipoint locking on all smooth fiberglass doors to enhance the weatherseal and to minimize warping.

4. Door Frame
The entry door system’s wood or vinyl frame and brickmould will not warp or buckle for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase.

10 Year (Lifetime of Product) Limited Warranty
1. Door Lites
Decorative, wrought iron and clear glass units are warranted for a period of 10years not to develop a seal failure.

2. Painted Doors and Vinyl Frame Components
The factory paint finish on steel, smooth fiberglass door panels and vinyl frame components, are warranted for a period of 10 years against such defects in material and workmanship that might result in blistering, peeling or uneven discolouration. Exposure to sunlight, air pollutants and normal atmospheric conditions may cause the paint surface to gradually fade. This warranty shall be null and void if harmful solvents are used to clean any surface.

Note: There will always be some minor imperfections when painting a smooth fiberglass panel and these imperfections will not be classified as a defect in workmanship.
